Yarnteen College operates many programs to address the needs of local and wider community members and groups. To ensure these programs are successful partnership are created to maximise the outcome for training participants. NSW Education & Training – State Training Services
The department's goal is to improve the social and economic wellbeing of the people of NSW through a responsive and innovative education and training system.

Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is the lead government agency providing national leadership in education and workplace training, transition to work and conditions and values in the workplace.

Yarnteen Ltd
Yarnteen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation was first established in 1991. In June 07 the Yarnteen members unanimously agreed to the transfer of incorporation of Yarnteen ATSI Corporation to Yarnteen Ltd (Yarnteen), a company Limited by guarantee. Yarnteen Ltd (Yarnteen) is a not for profit company whose object is to provide Aboriginal people with training and employment opportunities to provide relief from unemployment.

ASQA
The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the national regulator for Australia's vocational education and training sector. ASQA regulates courses and training providers to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met.

Hunter New England Local Health Network
Hunter New England Local Health Network was created on 1 January 2005, following the merger between Hunter, New England and the Lower Mid North Coast local government areas of Gloucester, Greater Taree City and Great Lakes.
Hunter New England Health:
• Provides care for approximately 840,000 people
• Covers a geographica
l area of over 130,000 square kilometres - the size of England!
• Has approx. 14,500 staff (or 10,500 FTE)
• Has 1500 medical officers
• Has 1600 volunteers
• Provides health services to 12 per cent of the State's population
• Provides health services to 20 per cent of the State's Aboriginal population
• Spans 32 local government areas
• Spends $1.3billion per annum
• Has a head office in Newcastle and a regional office in Tamworth
• Hunter New England Local Health Network is unique, in that it is the only Area Health Service with a major metropolitan centre (Newcastle/Lake Macquarie) as well as a mix of several large regional centres and many smaller rural centres and remote communities within its borders.
